Brahmi is a medicinal herb used in India by Ayurvedic practitioners. Brahmi grows in damp areas and marshy lands, and it bears bright green oval leaves and small white flowers. The proteins in its leaves make it a good antioxidant, and antioxidants protect against cell damage caused by free radicals – this damage is also known as oxidative stress.
There are many medicinal and therapeutic uses of Brahmi. But the most common and popular use of Brahmi is as a promoter of mental prowess and alertness.
